Meat and Production Crates

Meat crates from NORAH Plastics are standardized transport crates for the meat, food processing industry and comply with DIN 55423 and therefore meet the strict requirements of the EHI. Available in five different colors and three versions, they are the best choice when it comes to hygienic transport, weighing, storage or production of various food products.
The meat crates E1, E2 and E3 as well as the poultry crates E4 and E5 are mainly used in the European Union as a pool or in a so-called open-pool system. In this system, each user, manufacturer or wholesaler buys his crates according to his own needs. The crates circulate between the different users and are exchanged upon delivery. To ensure quality, the implementation such as size, weight and material of each crate is completely the same, so that equivalent material is returned. Due to its functional design and impact resistance, the meat crates are by far the most popular crates in our range.
In order to complete this transport system, an initiative of the EHI (European Trade Institute) led to the development of an accompanying plastic pallet for the meat crates: The EURO H1 Pallet. This pallet also circulates in an open pool system. Today, both the meat crates and the EURO H1 pallets have been successfully used in other sectors for decades.
